Lessons from the past!!!

Can Egypt be like Spain in 1936, after the constitution is made and the elections was held and the second republic was born many citizens were not supporting the Republic (Democracy)!
Leftists (liberals) called for a revolution and rightist (conservatives) called for Monarchy (Theocracy)! The government struggled to maintain stability under pressures of economic crisis (poverty/informality). Eventually things got out of hand and a Spanish civil war erupted.
Or it will be like what happened in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war as Moataz abdulFatah warns in his article!
No sides taken but a question that needed to be asked and an answer needs to be thought of!

The people from the barrio built the city twice: during the day we built the houses of the well-off. At night and at weekends, with solidarity, we built our own homes, our barrio.
